Sheree Amour Weddings & Event Planning had the pleasure of producing a 40th Birthday Celebration for one of our most loved "Clients". Mike Garnett, husband to the owner of Sheree Amour Weddings & Event Planning, wanted to turn up as he turned 40 and he enlisted the help of none other than -- muah! Now that I've gotten the formal hoopla out of the way...(LOL).

I had the honor of planning my husband's 40th birthday bash and I wanted to make sure it was one to remember, not only for the guests, but also for the guest of honor! Being that he hadn't had a birthday party since the age of nine plus this was one of those milestone birthday celebrations, I wanted to make sure everything was on point from the entire look and feel of the party, to the entertainment, to the music, food and drinks -- it had to be a night to remember. I had the advantage of connecting with some of North Carolina's most talented event pros to make it happen. It definitely would not have been "the place to be" the night of May 5, 2018 had it not been for an all star crew!

Held at the hottest industrial gem in Burlington, North Carolina -- The Brownstone at Glenoe Mill served as the backdrop for this amazing event. It gets better -- We pulled in Fords Fluent N' Food to cater for the night; Kake & Kookies provided custom cookies embellished with the face of our honored guest and not one, not two, but three cakes for the evening to include two mini cakes for my bestie and our son, who also celebrate their b-days in the month of May; World Class DJ Ty brought the soundtrack for the evening, hyping the crowd and definitely erupting dance moves from every soul in the building; AO & JO Photography and Video captured the video for the night; Cirque de Vol provided the entertainment for our guests with a Fire Performer and an Aerial Artist; Photo RAMIT Productions brought the Magic Mirror Photo Booth, which was an absolute hit at the party; the design concept was of course by yours truly but it was definitely completed with the help of the rentals from Something Borrowed Party Rentals tied together with Haute Seats providing the must have 'hot seats', or should I say Gold Chiavari chairs; Sociably Yours stepped in to serve as the "Day of Coordinator" because I truly wanted to enjoy the evening with my hubby; New Found Beauty Make Up Artistry made a special visit to glam the planner up and finally Cammel's Photography captured the moment with these awesome photos for us to look back on! Mike partied with friends and family, some of which who came all the way from Michigan! I must say, this was definitely a great night!! Mike sure does make 40 look GOOD! It was indeed a "Happy Birthday"!
