We are just a few days away from the wedding of our beautiful couple -- Binita & Nishant! Sheree Amour Weddings & Event Planning couldn't be more excited to be apart of this "Bollywood Nights" themed celebration. Our couple are on their way to a lifetime of happiness together on 8.18.2018!
So, how did it happen...here's the short and sweet version of the proposal in their own words:
Binita's Words
We spent the whole day out and about exploring. On the way home Nishant asked if I wanted to stop at the sunset cliffs area for a bit to watch the sunset. We get there and I wasn’t thinking about getting engaged at all - I tripped, had dirt all over my pants, my hair was frizzy from being out all day, and I was in gym clothes/Vince's. As we were getting ready to leave, I heard Nishant start saying “this has been the hardest thing I've ever had to plan”........... At that moment I KNEW it. I started jumping up and down in excitement before he could even finish talking and before he could even get down on one knee. I saw the ring and then I started jumping up and down in excitement all over again. Needless to say, I’m still jumping up and down in excitement to marry Nishant and spend the rest of my life with such an amazing man.
Nishant's Words
Here we were a few days after flying to San Diego. I had researched some places that I could possibly pop the question and I narrowed it down to Sunset Cliffs. We spent the day at La Jolla Cove and I had told Binita I'd like to go to sunset cliffs to check out the sunset (totally unlike me--and I pretty much thought she knew what was coming). Kelvin, a close friend of mine, was hiding behind rocks in touristy foreign attire and taking pictures of us while we made it to the cliffs.
Then....Binita fell. As she fell I realized this was a sign from god that she is either 1) clumsy and uncoordinated or 2) this needs to happen now or she will lose it. So...at that time with dirt covering half of her clothes...I proposed to her. Well, kind of. I was in a semi bent knee position ready to put my knee to the ground when she started to violently jump up and down and I took the ring and I placed it on her little finger. In all seriousness, I've never seen someone so genuinely happy and excited in my life. I must have done a good job on the ring...
He popped the question, she said yes, and in just a few days, they'll both say "I Do"! Take a look at their engagement session shot in Chicago Illinois by the talented Raj Banik of Candidly Speaking Imagery!
